I believe the lead singer on this album is Frank Querci although he's credited as Frank Lee on the back cover. The vocals on the rest of the tracks are quite a bit different than Merry go Round. Frank Lee was the boyfriend of my best friends older sister when I was a kid. At the time he was the lead singer for a Toronto band called The MidKnights.

I think I have a single by the Midknights on warner brothers canada

That would be them. Frank Lee took over lead vocals in 1969 when King Biscuit Boy (Richard Newell) left to join Ronnie Hawkins band.

Yes Frank Lee would be the name I was looking for. Thank you. If you come across anymore I would love to hear it as I don't have any of his recordings... his wife took them all after his death.

Hi Jake...I dated your dad in the late sixties...loved him dearly and sorry he passed ... Merry Go Round sounds nothing like him...He and I were godparents to my niece....I have some photos if you would like to have them...The band I new him was called The Jackdaws..later to be changed to The Robert E. Lee Brigade...there was an amazing school teacher that was in the band Karen and I remember Jim and Ed the drummer as they practiced daily in his basement off of Kipling...Frank then lived in Weston with his family ....they were amazing people as he was !!! RIP Frank xo

I used to work at the Cambridge Motor Hotel, downstairs called the Keg Room, and Frank and the band R.E.LEEwould always pack the place; I'm thinking1970-71 when he played there;Atillas Cave and the Mad Mechanic also.Justin Page also played at the Keg room

Hi Jake; I played keyboards for your father, Frank Querci in the early 80's, and he was always just a great guy, a great singer and a great entertainer. Myself and a few other musicians would like to know the details of his passing, if you wouldn't mind. Thanks!
