A little Wednesday soul to soothe the well, soul. Hope to get my car back tomorrow and put my wife's car in the shop at the same time. Maybe I'll get serious about buying a new car in a few weeks. May have to start selling some of my records to fund the ordeal.

This was a cover version. The Chantells did it in 1957.
Yep, I have a copy of that one as well as a copy the Shangri Las did on Red Bird also
Bobby Pedrick = Robert John, who had a hit with a cover of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" in the early seventies and then "Sad Eyes" in 1978
