Velvet Underground - White Light White Heat

On my Thursday trip I found this shop that had boxes of 45's under a table. This was the 2nd 45 I looked at in box #1 and my eyes just about popped out of my head.

Amazing find! One wonders if there's another acetate copy of the first album laying undiscovered somewhere.

Amazing find. How on Earth did you stop yourself from screaming - assuming you did?

I figured if I yelped in glee I was sunk. It wasn't my normal cheap bargin record find, but I can't complain considering.

makes you wonder if there are any grim horror tales of almost securing a 'holy grail' - only for the seller to 'withdraw' the record at the last moment right in front of the eyes!!

This guy had no prices on the records. He priced them based on what they were selling for on ebay! I was just lucky this one had not sold recently or he was unable to locate it.He said he also uses record price guides but prefers to use what they are actually selling for. When he told me how he sold records I thought, "WTF". I crossed my fingers and toes and when he could not find it on ebay we negotiated. I was very pleased with the price of the records I found, the others which will be featured in the near future

you find some amazing records!

I was in Daytona FL area in a record shop and noticed no prices on anything. I asked a couple of guys what the deal was and they said the owner prices them at the check-out counter. I left. No way to do "business."
