Sub Pop tuesday continues with one of my all time faves on the Sub Pop Label. I had planned on uploading this last week but after posting realized I did not have Jilted recorded. I recorded it this weekend and when I added the MP3 it saved the date as last weeks date. I had to recreate this post and that was a pain in the rear end with all the pictures. Anyway, back to the tunes.
I remember going to my friends house in Denver and he put on the Hazel Jilted 45 and I was blown away. I went right out and bought it (the gray one) and may have bought the LP via mailorder. As you can see, I ended up with the German white vinyl LP, the us and german promo cd's, a 12" single, the german blue vinyl 45, the us 45 on black vinyl and the gray vinyl one, a promo poster and a German press release....overkill much? Isn't it interesting the name was changed from Lucky Dog. I had planned doing this as an LP only post but realized Jilted was only on the 45 and 12" so I expanded it- You are welcome!
