Exiles Church St Soul Revival

Last week I uploaded the Tommy James version. I thought this week I would upload the cover version. I believe this was late 69 or early 1970.

You have one of the best blogs going, yet I find the volume level to be low - this could be simply a lack of technical/pc ability on my part - but I'd be interested to find out if anyone agrees.

Thanks for the positive comments on the blog. I have a bunch of songs already recorded for upload for future posts. When I find time to record the next ones I will see if there is something else I can do. I'm using Roxio 2010. Sound is fine when I make cds. Its low on my laptop but when I use headphones I can jack the volume up a bit. Is there anything you would like to hear? Although I have songs ready to go, I can start a wish list. I have boxes and boxes of this glorious stuff.

On the player there are some bars. You can increase the volume to the far right. Have you tried that?

Hi Poppacool,

it's me again, I'll fiddle with the volume to see if I can improve it - funny thing I sometimes find the same thing on Lone Star Stomp & Derek's Daily (but that seems to have improved lately)- thanks for the offer to post wanted stuff, someday soon I'll e-mail some sort of short list of requests, respect.

The Exiles were a very well known bar band from Lexington, KY in that era and had a hit pop tune in 1979, "Kiss You All Over" and went on to Country Music fame with a string of hits on Epic in the 1980's.
