Another obscure track representing the state of North Carolina. I have been unable to find any reference to this 45. I have no clue what year, ect...any information would be greatly appreciated. The "A" side is a bit moody and the "B" side has some good crude lo fi guitar.

I didn't even know this was possible.. the divshare player for "One Man's Dream" links to the label scan (jpg)!
Looking forward to hearing, usually like anything "moody" ;-)
hmmm, I'll see if I can fix it
I think they are fixed...let me know
I was thinking what the A side reminded me of and I think it is Donovan's Catch the Wind
All good - thank you!
"Recorded at Arthur Smith Studios" - there's always a 45 recorded at this studio popping up when you don't expect it. By the way: It was Arthur "Guitar Boogie" Smith!
it's from 1967
Would love to hear a re-post of this one! I thought I had a pretty good grasp of all the Arthur Smith Studios releases, but I have never seen or heard this before.
I have some very rare Arthur Smith Studio 45s in my collection, including Malabous Ron, Little Alton & the Velvatones (a personal favorite), Charles Brad Spencer, and a couple of Admiral label 45s to name a few. Let me know if you are interested in hearing any of those. None of them are currently available on YouTube or elsewhere. Cheers, Aidan
Will see if I can find the portable hard drive it is stored on and re-post for you. While I don't have a dupe of this, let me know if you have any N.C. wants. I have a few dupes of JCP and Pyramid 45's
Outside of the Electras on JCP, I am looking for the following 45's on those labels:
Co-Heirs - Knock On Wood/She Cried JCP 109
Bill Dale Jr. - Speaker Ban Ballad/Till You Look Back Tomorrow JCP 1053
Dayv Butler & the Delmars - She's A Baby/I'll Be Your Friend JCP 1044
Vigilantes - Notice Me/Ain't It Sad JCP 1001
Allene & the Economies - To Say I Love You/Mister Gloom Pyramid 7-7632
Thank you for checking on the Electras and Steps of Stone! I look forward to hearing those whenever you have a chance. If you'd like to make a swap for audio of any of the records I listed above or any other obscure NC 45s I might have, feel free to email me @ garagerock87@gmail.com with your wants list. Aidan
I have the Dayv Butler 45.
