Left Banke - I've Got Something On My Mind

"b" side of a song that barely dented the charts (#98 if I remember correctly). What a brilliant song!

I'd love to hear the A side. Something On My Mind is on their 1st LP. But have never heard Desiree.

Only other copy of the cheesy picture sleeve I've ever seen. Yes, Desirée is a monster. As for requests, how about a 1970 (recorded in '66) Jimmy Webb 45 -
I Can't Quit / Lost Generation
Bell B-892
Or (PLEASE!) a 60s honky-tonk 45 by Wayne Kemp (who wrote Image Of Me and many George Jones and Conway Twitty hits) -
Louisiana Sand / My Arms Grow Careless On the Galahad label.
I'm having great fun plowing through all these unknowns and otherwise. A better rip of Richard & The Young Lions' Nasty! Just like old times. Thanks for driving yourself crazy!

Sorry reservatory, I don't have those. I think I may have a Jimmy Webb 45 but if so I know it is not on Bell. I don't think I have uploaded Desiree yet..will have to check..if not, I see it happening in the next few weeks. Have to finish my Kinks week first!

This single (and the LP) should be right up there with every pop music listener......
