Lovin Spoonful - She Is Still A Mystery
This was a May 2011 post and I somehow updated it as tonight?
I had to fight not to upload another cover version for tonight. I need to save them for cover version week, whenever I do that again. So in the meantime, how about some more catchy pop. The Lovin Spoonful are one of those bands that are for the most part "fluffy" but damn if they did not put out some catchy lovely songs. Here is one of their overlooked songs if you ask me.

Travel Agency - What's A Man
Has it really been a week? Exhaustion was my middle name last week, and it will change to dead tired this week. I liked both sides but decided on this one. Any thoughts?

Bought another car this week...nice to have XM radio again. Wonder if there is an old country station....that would be cool.

Gary Knight - The World 2,000
My field placement and long work hours are cutting into my blog but such is life until December. Here is a weird one

Del Shannon - Thinkin It Over
I'm surprised by many things when looking at discographies. For instance, no US picture sleeves were released for the classic Kinks 45s from the 60's and early 70s. And this is the only Del Shannon PS on a 60s US release. Del had no success on Liberty and yet some of his 45s on this label are some of his finest.

Little Grant's & Eddie - Rudy's Dead
Wow, can't believe it is Friday and I have not had a chance to post anything. I have a super busy week, and I expect life to be this busy through December. Here is a late 60s single featuring Eddie Grant (remember "Electric Avenue".
I have also updated my other blog Sonic Paraphenalia with some Ramones

Arthur Smith and his Crackerjacks - SHHH
I should have uploaded something last night but watched Colorado get beat by Hawaii instead..bummer. ECU lost as well so only my undergrad alma mater, CSU won. Here is a fun little 45 I found yesterday and enjoyed it so much I had to take time to upload it.
