Wow, what a wonderful 3 days off. I spent Saturday looking through 7000 45's and brought home a nice 170. Spent yesterday doing yard work and today organized the record room as I grilled some ribs all day. Listened to a ton of albums while organizing...Frank Zappa, Steely Dan, 2 Cream albums, Traffic, Howard Tate, The Doors, The Motors, The Kinks, 20/20, Sir Douglas Quintet, Now for a little fuzz upload from the Ventures (Pt. 1 and 2) and then I'm going to tear into the ribs. May even have 1 more beer to go along with them
My feeble attempt at documenting my record collection and music obsession.

Charles Wolcott - Leatherjacket Cowboy
I don't know what it is lately but the spam to my blog has been absolutely horrible. I have had to change my settings so I hope that does not detract from my readers posting comments. I love to receive comments but weeding through the stupid a** spam has been RIDICULOUS.
My friends Ray and Jim gave me some cool albums yesterday, some Miles Davis on Prestige, Coltrane on Impulse, Cream on Atco. So I was trying to come up with something special for this post as it is post 700 and was in a jazzy mood. Yeah, this probably isn't your cup of tea.

Neal Ford And The Fanatics - Wait For Me
Graduation was wonderful yesterday and it is official- I am out of school. Of course I will still have some studying to do for the 2 licensure tests I will take but no more class. It seems like my life has had the motto for the past 3 years of "Wait For Me"

The Thoughts - All Night Stand
I had the chance to copy some 45's to the computer today. This fantastic Ray Davies song was a lucky pickup within the past 6 months. Would have loved to have heard a polished Kinks version of this!
