This was recorded at Tommy Allsup's Studio and "William Penn" is actually William Pendelton Redden. Or better known as just Willie Redden. Willie still livesin Hoenwald, TN, still writes and performs and has remained one of my dearest and closest friends for over fifty years. The flip side is Chrome Dome Wheeler Dealer and features a great guitar break by Tommy Allsup. Beats me what Terry Church had to do with it other than he and Willie did an album together about the same time. Which has never been released.

Cool!
Thanks for posting this one... this was (to me) an unknown Lubbock record.
How does the flip compare?
The hunt begins...
Seems it I did not like it as much but I'll plan on an upload in the future
