CU barely pulled it out last week. I thought they would win easily but my alma mater made them work for it. This week they play #10 Oregon. This one will be tough...too many offensive and defensive line issues and we are without our best player. But we have a Quarterback that puts everything on his shoulders. No one believes...but there is an opportunity this week if they put all areas of their game together
Here is an obscure one I have found nothing about. Seems to be a one off 45 by this artists but it fits right nicely in my collection.
I have to wait until after 10pm to watch my Buffaloes. They took care of Nebraska last week but it was a bit sloppy. Tonight they take on my Alma Mater. Sorry CSU...the only game all year I root against you. The CSU coach riled things up this week so I think CU will have to get tough with them. So Play me my Theme Music
Quite a long week but the weekend is in sight. I seem to have featured quite a bit of Australian bands lately and I think I will keep that going. The Go-Betweens were a fantastic band and sadly their leader died in 2006 of a heart attack. They never really made a name for themselves here in the states despite being on a major label. If you have never heard this band I encourage you to youtube them and listen to them. That is your mission.
Lots of other things to keep me preoccupied lately so I neglected posts. Horrible little late summer Sinus Infection has kept me sidelined a bit. I picked this up earlier this summer and it's been patiently waiting its turn for the limelight.
A few years ago I was posting 12" singles while celebrating my Colorado Buffaloes football team. I have been a CU Buffalo football fan since I was a child and loved those championship years. Yes, I originally went to Colorado State University but hey it was only because they had a Social Work program. We have had such a horrible run over the past 20 years and it has baffled me because of Boulder. Well, now we have Coach Prime and I have to say I Believe. I believed from the moment he was announced as Coach. When they were chosen to finish 2nd to last in the Pac 12 this year I was like "really, with all the dawgs they have brought in" And the 21 points TCU was chosen to win by...if I gambled I would have put a whole lot of $$ on that one. I am so excited to see how this year plays out and this week we get our rival Nebraska. I need to come up with special songs for each game this year. Will it be a theme? Will it be a specific genre...or it will be a mish mash...I'm thinking mish mash...variety is the spice
