Headed off into a different unplanned direction this morning. I've been finding Manhattan's 45s lately and can't believe I pretty much passed them by in the past but if I am to be truthful they usually are beat up when I find them...This was the B side and is really nice and sweet sounds for a Friday morning

The A side did absolutely nothing for me...boring cover version medley...I was expecting a hideous B side and then it smacked me silly in a happy way.
Cooper and I went for our first walk in over 6 months. I had hurt my leg and hip last year and have been slow to heal. He was a happy camper on the walk. The weather was perfect

This 45 was a recent pickup. I never really appreciated Jesus and Mary Chain at the time. My friend Rodney loved them and I just didn't spend time trying to like them. I am realizing now in my older age that was a big mistake. I have picked up some reissues of their LP's over the past year including the Third Man Vault reissue of Psychcandy, and of course still have the Sub Pop LP.
