Todd Rundgren - Couldn't I Just Tell You
Tuesday Powerpop. Probably my favorite Todd Rundgren song. It's a crime that this only hit #93 on the charts. It is also not a very easy 45 to find and I have both promo and stock copies
Completely agree, what a song! I've got a destroyed promo copy.
Coincidentally, just last Sunday I found a cover version that's been on my radar by Terry Williams, ex of Kenny Rogers' First Edition. It's not really that different than Todd's version, less energy. From '79/'80 on International Artists label (Kenny's brother's label).
