I am not a statistics number guy but I find it weird that over the past few weeks the views on the blog were on somedays nearly 200 views and then it drastically dropped to fewer than 20, with yesterday having only 8 views. Now don't get me wrong, if I recieved not one view I would still be uploading daily. This blog has become a nice distraction for me with all the busy work I have daily as well as the work around the house afterhours. This blog allows me to start the day in a calm manner with a clear mind, before I get to the utter busy-ness that I know is going to hit me daily.
Cooper and I finally got another walk as my leg felt better so why not celebrate with some blue-eyed soul for this fine Thursday. The Uniques were fantastic and its been 10 years since I posted one of their songs. I have a bunch of their 45s and their greatest hits LP. Their sound went from garage to blue-eyed soul. Joe Stampley then went in a completely different direction and became a huge Country Music singer. I will admit I have not really listened to any of his country songs.

I have written about the Uniques months ago as the first incarnation of this band recorded some surf/rock'n'roll for a local Arkansas label. The band's roots were in Southwest Arkansas, were the original members attended college.
