I spent the last week in Colorado and did some fantastic digging. I found a guy that was selling 400 promo 45's for $100 that belonged to his grandfather that was a DJ. Lots of obscure rockabilly and some northern soul...super excited by what I saw. It took 5 boxes to mail them and they should arrive tomorrow. I also hit record stores and a record show in Colorado Springs, where I picked up some cool punk 45s like a signed Stranglers 45, some XTC and Ramones (yes, future posts). My flight did not get into Raleigh until 12:30am this morning so I didn't get home until 2:45am...Cooper was super happy to see me and did the doggy dance...he loves my wife but I'm the one he needs (yeah, right).
