Lesley Gore - Off and Running
I was thinking about doing a girls week after hearing this Lesley Gore song on Sirius/XM last week. I had completely forgotten what a great song this is and it bubbled under the top 100 so most people never heard it.
I don't know if I have enough pictures and songs ready from the ladies but I will give it a shot.

Was walking the dog last night and this song came into my head. WTH? Always loved Lesley but the Mindbenders' version has a little more zip to it (despite the loping intro). Really can any song that sounds like it could come out of Gilligan's radio be anything but great?
I agree. I had the Mindbenders version in my collection for years and didn't realize it until I started looking for it...sometimes need to look in your own backyard..lol
