Bruce Cockburn is never afraid of spitting it out and I love him for that. I first saw him in concert in the tour between this LP and Big Circumstance. I guy I worked with at the time met him the day of the concert and had no idea who he was. That would have been cool! My wife and I saw him quite a few years ago in Chapel Hill. Side note, I had the promo 12" single of this song and of course it is one of the missing 12" singles from my collection...I guess I have to torture myself occasionally with that memory. DISCLOSURE: Bruce says some bad words in this song so don't play around the kiddies
