I welcome a Chuck Jackson classic to our Friday Soul 45 club. I have a small admission to make...I had not heard his version of this song until recently. I always loved other versions of this song and his OG does not disappoint. I see his 45s all the time but have listened to few...I guess that needs to change. I learned he was born in North Carolina and had lots of minor billboard chart hits..sad to think this one only made #45
