This is such an important and powerful song in my opinion and I am going to do something out of the normal. I am posting a live video of this song instead of the 45. I am doing this for several reasons. First off, the original version on 45 and lp has language that is controversal and I believe would be taken out of context- Tom is not being rascist -but as he points out in this video it is a political parody of an old fuddy duddy trying to turn the clock back, and in 1978 lets face it some language was more tolerable than it is now- and some of that language should not be tolerated now- Tom does an excellent job in this video of adapting the rant to current issues in the UK (and lets face here in the USA today). Second, this 45 has some heat warp damage- I bought it a few months ago online and didn't check it out right away- my mistake. But anyway, I still would not have posted the 45 if it was not warped due to language I am not comfortable with. So even though Tom is singing about the UK in 2018, it is almost like Tom knew what was going to happen right now in the USA
